Numerous precision agriculture options (section shut-off, GPS nozzles, dose adjustment and so on) are available on our different types of Bus, Can or ISOBUS regulations. The RAPTOR and VANTAGE ranges are supplied as standard with these ISOBUS features activated. Thanks to ISOBUS, you control your machines with a single terminal integrated into the cab or via a virtual terminal added to the tractor. This also makes it possible to use the same settings from one machine to another and to automate the GPS features. As the different ISOBUS terminals develop, we test and check their compatibility through our partnership with the AEF (Agricultural Industry Electronics Foundation). The EC TRONIC monitor developed by BERTHOUD is capable of performing each of the 4 functions listed below (activation code to unlock). However, this requires a terminal in the cab that is able to receive and process this information.

ISOBUS: terminal-machine compatibility guaranteed

The ISOBUS language is used so that the machine and the terminal can communicate with each other. To automate GPS functions such as section control or dose adjustment, ISOBUS features are requires in both the terminal and the machine. 4 main ISOBUS functions are currently used:

- UT function (Universal Terminal): display and control of the machine on the ISOBUS terminal

- TC-BAS function (Task Controller-Basic): documentation and recording of work performed

- TC-GEO function (Task Controller-Geo-Based): geo-referencing of data and GPS dose adjustment

- TC-SC function (Task Controller-Section Control): GPS Section Control (automatic section management)

- AUX-N function (Auxiliary): option to use an ISOBUS joystick to control the sprayer's functions.

The new VT TRONIC display: a high-end ISOBUS terminal

The new VT TRONIC display offers features such as guidance, section shut-off, intra-plot dosage adjustment and documentation. It provides you with a perfect balance between the information you receive from the device and what you tell it to carry out. The 30.8 cm display has a touch-screen and displays information in windows that can be moved at the touch of your "fingertip" for greater comfort and visibility.
It runs on Android and is compatible with install additional software to multiply its features. This allows to download or display agricultural applications.

If you already have an ISOBUS universal terminal, you can simply connect the ISOBUS plug on your BERTHOUD device (ISOTRONIC solution) after ensuring that your interface is capable of communicating with the EC TRONIC device (activation code to unlock).
