A customised start-up service

A truly “customised” start-up service designed for end users when they first start using their sprayer, the SMART & GO service was launched in February 2014. It is based on a mixed model between the dealers’ teams and our BERTHOUD technicians to help you start using your machine.

This unique service combines “teaching” and “a high level of expertise”: a combination adapted to the new needs of the market.

In the face of the increasing technical nature of sprayers and the users’ quest for spraying precision and profitability (new technologies, settings, etc.), we have developed a new service offering called: SMART & GO.

This new service provides you customised support, irrespective of your crop: vineyards, trees or row crops and the model of the sprayer: mounted, trailed, or self-propelled.

By signing up for this service with your dealer upon purchasing your BERTHOUD sprayer, you receive customised support to help you get started with your equipment.

The BERTHOUD technician and one of the dealer's employees work directly at your site once the sprayer has been delivered. The technician is responsible for helping you correctly familiarise yourself with the sprayer: calibrating the controls, section shut-off, sprayer maintenance, electronics and best practices.

Finally, he/she carries out a full demonstration of the equipment's features before giving any explanations necessary to use the machine correctly (daily use, maintenance, winter storage).
