The VITIFLEX arch: an arch with hydraulic spacing and unfolding
This arch provides great flexibility of use. It is particularly well-suited in the case of multiple plantation widths and in wide vines (range of 5.30 m when boom is extended to the maximum), making it possible to bring the cannons close to the crops and therefore target the outer rows more precisely.
This arch features optimum spraying quality and precision. It is fitted with TWINMIST cannons and cannons measuring 110 mm on the outer rows (which makes it possible to combine excellent coverage height and penetration, especially at bunches) and AIRMIST DUO or TRIO diffusers on adjacent rows. The diffusers and cannons are mounted on a ball joint for easy adjustment. Each diffuser or cannon is equipped with Easyflo calibration, which calibrates the flow and cuts the spray at each outlet. The SITELEC option (electric control of cannon adjustment) makes working on slopes easier.
The option to spray the opposite side of adjacent rows means two rows plus two half-rows can be treated per pass by directly spraying all sides.
The lift on guide rail makes it possible, on the hydraulic model (available as an option, travel of 340 mm or 500 mm, as required), to combine high clearance under the arms (up to 2.60 m) and a reduced transport height (from 2.50 m depending on lift and tyre size). With an overall width of 1.65 m when the arch is folded, the Vitiflex arch has an ultra-compact transport size which makes driving on roads and tracks very easy.
The Vitiflex arch is both straightforward and practical to use thanks to its kinematics which combine a gas cylinder for unfolding and a hydraulic cylinder for spacing. Unfolding and spacing are independent, making it very easy to change the width (500 mm adjustment range). Graduated indicators make it easier to position the arch at the required width. Only two double-acting hydraulic spools are required to unfold and space out the arms independently. An SEH model and a ED model are also available as an option.
