The KONDOR boom is a compact boom

The KONDOR boom extends from 32 to 38 m, with 3 folding arms. It is fitted with axiale suspension* as standard.

The boom is also fitted with a double anti-whiplash system (for each arm and for the mobile frame) in polyurethane for each arm. Controlling the boom movements is done by electric controls (ED) in the cab. The slope control and variable geometries reset is fitted as standard

The KONDOR boom is a high performance boom thanks to its L-shaped structure which provides a good compromise between weight and rigidity.The Quadrix nozzle holders are protected front and rear and the arm ends are retracted in 3 dimensions by automatic return using a gas cylinder. There is also a safety bolt with shear part on the last joint for maintaining the boom structure in the event of an impact.

*AXIALE suspension is based on the principle of a balance point close to the boom’s centre of gravity. Balance is maintained and so the boom remains aligned with the axle as a result of the action of the springs. Finally, vibrations are dampened with the help of two additional shock absorbers. A frame integrates two independent shock absorbers for each arm, enabling the whiplash on the boom to be controlled mainly when accelerating and slowing down.
