It must not hide the tractor’s indicator lights.
If my sprayer extends more than 1 m behind my tractor, I must display a red and white plate to the rear and on each side of my machine.
If my sprayer extends more than 40 cm beyond the overall width of my tractor, I must display a red and white striped plate in front and at the rear placed as closely as possible to the protruding part.
If the whole unit is more than 2.55 m wide overall, the tractor can be fitted with 4 white clearance lights in front and red lights at the rear or the same red and white striped plates
I own a trailed sprayer:
The sprayer carries 2 red sidelights, two orange direction indicator lights and 2 or 4 triangular red reflector lights at the rear.
If the sprayer is more than 6 m long, reflectors are added along the sides of the unit.
If my sprayer is more than 2.55 m wide, the width must be indicated by 4 white clearance lights towards the front and red towards the rear or red and white striped plates at the front and rear.
If any parts extend more than 40 cm beyond the unit towards the left of the roadway, a red and white plate must be placed towards the front and towards the rear at the outer end of the protruding parts.
A disk indicating the speed limit of 25 km/h must be affixed at the rear of the sprayer.
I own a self-propelled sprayer:
It has more or less the same indicator elements as a tractor.
If my sprayer is more than 2.55 m wide, I must indicate its width by 4 white clearance lights towards the front and red lights towards the rear or red and white striped plates at the front and rear.
If any parts extend more than 40 cm beyond the unit towards the left of the roadway, a red and white plate must be placed towards the front and towards the rear at the outer end of the protruding parts.
