There are several types of drift: "climatic" drift caused by the wind and drift created by the spraying operation itself. The factors influencing drift are as follows:

The most common way of reducing drift today is the use of air-injection nozzles. Under the terms of the decree of 12/09/2006 regarding protection of buffer areas, NOZAL ADX and BFS Air Bubble Jet nozzles are two of the Ministry-approved nozzles.
