BERTHOUD's BOOM Control offer is expanding and is now available in 3 versions: SLANT CONTROL, TOTAL CONTROL and ACTIVE ROLL.
To increase spray quality and cabin comfort, ACTIVE ROLL technology is now available as part of BERTHOUD's BOOM CONTROL offer.
Particularly suitable for uneven plots of land and large booms, the system allows simultaneous control of the height of the boom, variable geometries and slopes. The kit includes three ultrasound sensors (one for each arm and a central unit), two inclination sensors, a sensor for the slope and two proportional hydraulic blocks (one for the variable geometries and one for the slope). This new option is available on all booms measuring 36 metres and over in the range.
The main advantages of this technology are:
- increased working speed,
- limited dispersion as the treatment is carried out nearer to the target
- option to work in ground, vegetation or hybrid modes according to the stage and type of crop.
