Control of your 'Made in BERTHOUD' equipment
Developed by BERTHOUD, it features a large 15 cm colour screen that groups together all information on volume per hectare, measured pressure and litres applied. EC TRONIC also uses CAN BUS technology. This means up to 15 sections can be controlled (8 sections with the HERMES model).
As standard with models fitted with solenoid valves, it also features the E PILOT wireless joystick (exclusive to BERTHOUD), that can be used to operate all sprayer functions and spraying in sequential mode, in a radius of over 20 metres from the central control box.
EC Tronic is pre-configured, as standard, with GPS section shut-off through a wire connection. It can also be fitted with the option of a RS232 connection or an ISOBUS connector for GPS section shut-off and variable rate application.
Regulation via pressure sensor offers numerous advantages including improved precision (pressure measurement close to the nozzle and more efficient on smaller volumes), with no clogging or blockages, no calibrated returns, reduced maintenance and closing of nozzle/nozzle requiring no change in setting.
GPS assistance with the E-TECH pack
The EC Tronic unit can be fitted with the optional E-TECH control unit, enabling guidance, section shut-off and variable rate application. The touch-screen control panel has a 20.3 cm screen.
