Constant pressure: the simple and economic solution
With constant pressure, the boom pressure and flow remain constant, whatever the engine speed.
The BERTHOUD manual control valve block includes a manual regulator valve, a 1/4 turn general cut-off valve and 2 or 3 section valves depending on the boom.
A glycerine 0/25 bar Ø 63 mm adjustment pressure gauge displays the pressure.
The user turns the adjustment dial to obtain the required working pressure. The pressure depends on the required volume per hectare and speed and which nozzle has been selected. Once adjustment has been carried out, the pressure remains constant.
